H.E. Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, will pay a visit to Egypt on 13-14 August 2026 to attend the Second Meeting of the Türkiye-Egypt Joint Planning Group (JPG) and hold bilateral meetings.

During the JPG meeting, to be held in an inter-agency format under the co-chairmanship of the Foreign Ministers of the two countries, bilateral agenda items, including the outcomes of the Second Meeting of the Türkiye-Egypt High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) held on 4 February 2026 in Cairo, as well as preparations for the Third HLSCC Meeting, which is scheduled to take place in Türkiye, will be discussed.

During the visit, views will also be exchanged on regional issues.
