QA-22, 27 November 2025, Statement of the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Öncü Keçeli, in Response to a Question Regarding the Attack on Khor Mor Gas Field Located in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq
We express our concern over the attack on the Khor Mor gas field in Iraq yesterday (26 November), with regard to the stability and prosperity of our neighbour Iraq. We condemn such actions targeting civilian infrastructure.
Our Consulate General in Erbil ensured that the necessary measures have been taken for Turkish citizens working in the field.
