Turkish e-visa is equivalent to the Turkish sticker visa issued at Turkish missions.

Kindly beware fraudulent/fake e-visa websites.

E-VISA PROCEDURE, ELIGIBILITY, CONDITIONS

The Electronic Visa (e-Visa) Application system allows visitors travelling to Turkey to easily obtain their e-Visas online (www.evisa.gov.tr), in approximately three minutes. (If eligible)

Getting e-visa costs at least 85 USD less than sticker visa.

No handling company is delegated to issue or facilitate e-visa by Turkish missions in India. Applicants should do their own e-visa application. (If eligible) It is possible to obtain e-Visa 7/24 at everywhere with internet connection. The applicants can obtain their visa after they fill in the necessary information concerning their identity, passport and travel dates and pay visa fee online.

Please note that e-visa is only valid when the purpose of travel is tourism or commerce. For other purposes, such as work and study, visas are given by Turkish Embassies or Consulates.

E-visa for India, Bhutan, Maldives(**) and Nepal nationals

India, Bhutan and Nepal nationals are eligible for the e-Visa provided that they hold any supporting document listed below.

Supporting documents:

• “Valid (*) visa” from one of the Schengen Countries, USA, UK or Ireland

• “Valid(*) residence permit” from one of the Schengen Countries, USA, UK or Ireland

Notes:

Previously used or unused visas are accepted as long as their validity (*) date covers your entry date to Turkey.

Please note that e-Visas of other countries are not accepted as a supporting document.

Supporting visas on old/expired passport are accepted as long as those visas' validity date covers your entry date to Turkey. In this case e-visa should be registered on new/current/valid passport and along with current one old passport should be carried and submitted to the Turkish immigration during entry.

Supporting documents in original should be available with the person for submitting Turkish immigration when entering to Türkiye.

(*) Valid (by date) by the time you enter Turkey. E.g. entry date to Turkey should lie within the validity period of supporting document.

Please also note: e-visa website does not check validity, authenticity, etc of the supporting document. Applicant has to enter correct information. Airlines and Turkish immigration shall seek and check supporting documents validity, authenticity etc.

Kindly be advised; if supporting document does not meet above criteria, airline companies will not accept the applicant onboard.

(**) For Maldives nationals to get e-visa, having supporting document is not required.
