The Global Humanitarian Assistance Programme of “Development Initiatives” of London has issued 2018 Global Humanitarian Assistance Report on June 19, 2018.

According to the report that contains global data for the year 2017, Turkey is listed as the leading country with 8.07 billion US Dollars worth of humanitarian assistance. USA (6.68 billion US Dollars), Germany (2.99 billion US Dollars), United Kingdom (2.52 billion US Dollars) and the European Union (2.24 billion US Dollars) follow Turkey.

The report states that Turkey has preserved her leading position with a 0.85 % ratio between its national income and humanitarian assistance, as the “most generous nation” in the world. Norway and Luxembourg follow Turkey’s lead with a ratio of 0.17%.

With this report, the power of Turkey’s humanitarian diplomacy, implemented without discrimination, is once again confirmed globally.

Turkey is determined to continue its humanitarian policies to the benefit of all humanity.
