Kindly be informed that the Embassy shall not give any tracking information of visa application process. Visa handling company’s application center should be contacted.

Turkish Embassy in New Delhi or Consulates in Mumbai and Hyderabad do not accept sticker visa applications directly.

Submitting and collecting of all sticker visa applications should be done via intermediary company (VAC); Gateway Management according to Missions' jurisdiction areas.

After getting your sticker visa:

If there is mistake/error on visa sticker contact the VAC that you first submitted your application. VAC will send the passport to the Embassy for correction. Fees may be asked to be paid again on the basis of the source of the error.

For Indian, Nepalese,Bhutanese nationals' (only tourist and business) visa applications: issue period within India takes minimum 4 working days (Other than Delhi VAC issue period is longer 2-4 days more, For Nepal 10 working days).

During high season issue period time may be increased to additional 5 days to each country's applications. For issue period of other visa types see below points (Section 2-Documents and ...)

Rejected/Refused Passports

Embassy/Consulate reserves the right either change visa type/duration or reject the application without giving any reason/explanation. In any case fee amount/balance is not reimbursable.

Frequent reasons of rejections:

Missing documents

Documents reliability

Non-attested copies instead of originals

False/fake documents

Not cleared from Turkish internal authorities

Not cleared from Embassy’s assessment

Rejected passports holders (after reviewing the application documents and fulfilling the requirements) can always apply again (NO waiting period needed). In this case; all fees should be paid once again.

Tourist Visa

1 : Manually filled visa application form by blue or black pen in capital letters with 1 photograph affixed to it, signed by the applicant.

2 : The original passport should be issued less than 10 years with a minimum validity of 6 months beyond the intended duration of stay in Turkish territory and with at least two full blank pages.

3 : 2 biometric photos with a white background that were taken within the last 6 months, depicting the full face clearlyvisible without shadow, in 2.5inch x 2.5inch size.

4 : Leave letter form employer/ covering letter in personal business letter head (if self-employed) with authorized signatory, name and designation with company seal

5 : Travel insurance (valid for at least duration of the trip in Turkey)

6 : Confirmed reservation of round trip flight ticket

7 : Hotel reservation

8 a) Last 3 months’ bank statement of company (for employer), in original or copies attested by bank

b) Last 3 months’ bank statement of personal, in original or copies attested by bank

9 a) Salary Slips / Certificates of the last three months and Form 16 (for employee)

b) GST (for employer)

10 : If applicant has not enough funds or bank account, financial support letter from the sponsor notarized. (Not applicable for spouses, parents and children)

11 : Minors need consent letter from both parents in all cases (even though minor is travelling with both parents). The consent NOC must be on stamp paper with photos of parents and applicant and notarized. NOC for Student is mandatory. ( Original by the School/College )

12 : If the applicant is visiting a Turkish citizen/foreigner residing in Turkey; invitation letter including passport number and full name of the applicant and copy of the identity card and bank account of the inviter.

4 : Cover Letter from employer on company letter head with authorized signatory, name and designation with company seal. Also mentioned about the guarantee clause with the expenses of the trip.

5 : Travel insurance (valid for at least duration of the trip in Türkiye)

6 : Confirmed reservation of round trip flight ticket

7 : Original invitation letter from Türkiye or colour scanned copy with clear information specified the full name and passport number of the applicant.

If applied to Multiple Entry; Turkish Company’s letter should state the long term relation with Indian Company.

8 a) Last 3 months’ bank statement of company (for employer), in original or copies attested by bank

4 : Personal covering letter from the Donor & Recipient stating the purpose of visit to Türkiye including the duration of stay, expenses clause and guarantee clause

5 : Travel insurance (valid for at least duration of the trip in Türkiye)

6 : Confirmed reservation of round trip flight ticket

7 : Invitation letter from the respective medical institute in Türkiye specified the full name and passport number of the applicant (original or colour copy)

8 : Hotel Reservations

9 : Bank statement for last 3 months with sufficient balance

10 : If Donor or Recipient is a working professional then original leave sanction letter on the company letterhead with authorized name and signatory.

11 : If Self-employed or a Businessman or a Proprietor of a firm then the applicant should give covering letter on firms letterhead and must attach business proof like Company Registration (Attested by Notary & Mantralaya) or Recommendation letter from the relevant Chamber of Commerce.

12 : If Applicant has not enough funds or bank account, financial support letter from the sponsor notarized. (Not applicable for spouses, parents and children)

13 : Letter from the respective Doctor(s) of Donor and Recipient which should mention the medical history of both on respective clinic’s letterhead.

Visa for Foreigners Residing in India/Nepal (Issue period minimum 30 days)

Also check if your passport is eligible for e-visa.

Foreigners living in India, Nepal or Bhutan need to have at least 90 days valid visa or resident/work permit from these countries in order to apply any type of visa to the Turkish Missions in India.

Those visa applications cannot be issued directly by Embassy/Consulate. These applications are subject to the clearance of Turkish internal authorities. Reply (approval or rejection) is received usually in minimum 45 days.

-If passport is needed after application or there occurred any urgent travel during evaluation process period, applicants could always inform Gateway and collect their passport back. After travel, passport could again be submitted to Gateway.

Withdrawing application with passport is also possible.

-Two working days after passport is received by the Embassy, applicant could always collect passport if needed during the evaluation process of the application.

- In case of withdrawal (not temporarily collecting back) of application fee is not refundable.

- Applicants should contact Gateway for either temporarily collecting the passport or withdrawing the whole application.

4 : Covering letter from Indian agent, invitation letter from Türkiye or colour scanned copy with clear information specified the full name and passport number of the applicant

5 : Original CDC/Seamen’s book with copy

6 : Employment contract copy, crew list should be signed by the master and itinerary of vessel from the company

7 : The letter should mention identity, position and passport duration of seamen, Vessel owner’s details and Turkish agent details, flag of the vessel, date of entry /departure of ship from Türkiye, Seaman’s date of arrival and joining the ship.

4 : Covering letter with all necessary details along with name list from Indian Film Production House with authorized signatory, name and designation with company seal

5 : Confirmed reservation of round trip flight ticket

6 : Travel insurance (valid for at least duration of the trip in Türkiye)

7 : Hotel reservation

8 a) Production House’s bank statement for last 3 months, in original or copies attested by bank

b) Personal bank statement for last 3 months, in original or copies attested by bank

c) Salary slips / Certificates of the last 3 months and Form 16 (for employee)

9 : Production House registration certificate (copy)

10 : Approval/ Permission to shoot in Türkiye from Turkish Ministry

11 : Turkish Production House’s covering letter mentioning all the necessary details with the name list, expense clause, etc.

3- FAQ (Visa, Passport, Travel to Türkiye or TRNC)

The length of stay provided by visa or visa exemption cannot exceed 90 days within each 180 days. The regulation of 90 days of stay within the last 180 days is binding for all foreigners that will travel to Türkiye.

Visa regulations (documents and issue period) are not flexible. All criteria should be met.

Embassy is not collecting missing documents after application is submitted.

Applying visa under Premium/VIP at visa company does not involve expedited visa issue by the Embassy. Premium/VIP is only related to applying at visa company without taking prior appointment.

E-visa and sticker visa are not refundable. Unused e-visa or sticker visas cannot be renewed or extended, new application should be conducted and paid for.

Passport Validity Periods

- Diplomatic, official and special passport holders are advised to have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months as from the date of arrival in Türkiye.

- Ordinary (tourist purpose) passports should be valid for additional 6 months beyond the duration of visit.

Either pages are finished or expiry date is passed visas on cancelled passports cannot be used. Visas are not transferrable between old and new passports. New application should be conducted

To enter TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) via Türkiye, Turkish sticker visa (special for TRNC) issued by Turkish Embassy/Consulate is required. Just standard visa application documents are required.

For transit passengers: If you will not leave the international transit area at the airport you are not required to have transit visa.

- Any nationals who shall reside, work or study in Türkiye, should register themselves at the nearest local police department upon their arrival in Türkiye, regardless of the validity of their visa.

- Persons from any nationals who have valid Turkish resident or work permit do not need visa to enter Türkiye in validity period of said permits. At arrival, they should submit their Turkish permits along with passport.
