Press Release Regarding the Terrorist Attack against the Police Training Centre in Quetta, Pakistan

It has been learnt with great sorrow that about 60 people were killed and more than 100 people were injured, most of whom were police cadets and security personnel, in the terrorist attack perpetrated against the police training centre in Quetta, Pakistan, yesterday (24 October) midnight.

We strongly condemn this heinous terrorist act targeting stability and security of Pakistan, wish God’s mercy on those who lost their lives, speedy recovery to the wounded, and convey our condolences to the Government and brotherly people of Pakistan.

On this occasion, we reiterate our conviction that the perpetrators of this terrorist attack will not achieve their goal of dragging Pakistan into instability, and will not weaken Pakistan’s determination in its fight against terrorism, and reaffirm that Turkey will continue its solidarity with brotherly Pakistan.
