Press Release Regarding the Visit of H.E. José Manuel García-Margallo, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain to Turkey

H.E. José Manuel García-Margallo, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain will pay a visit to Turkey on 7 October 2016. The visit of Minister Margallo is a concrete indicator of the solidarity that the Government of Spain has displayed for Turkey in the aftermath of the failed coup attempt on 15 July 2016.

Minister Margallo will meet with H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey and will also hold high level contacts. Furthermore, he will visit the Grand National Assembly building, severely damaged during the failed coup attempt.

During the meetings the sides will exchange views on regional issues, as well as bilateral relations.
